Vhearun, Lord God of the Drow

Name: Vhearun

Gender: Male

Race: The drow are a subterranean race of elves. They live far and deep underground in a place called the Underdark. Long ago, they were a part of the surface elf's clans, but a civil war saw them outcast to the underground tunnels and passageway. There they met up with a dark and powerful goddess who took them in and taught them how to live in the darkness and cold. Slowly, their skin turned coal black, their eyes became red and saw in heat patterns as well as regular vision, and their hair bleached white. Vhearun was born of the goddess that taught them their ways, and is now their god.

Age: He is about 7 millennia old.

Appearance: Standing at 4'6”, Vhearun is short, as most drow are. His hair is white and long, with bangs jutting forward and a small braid at each temple. His red eyes are usually switching randomly from one emotion to another, making him seem almost bipolar. Two, huge feathered wings arch up above his shoulder and trail down to his ankles. Like all drow, his skin is black as night. His body is well-muscled but slightly slim to make up for his small stature.

Personality: Vhearun is narcissistic, arrogant, and has a sarcastic wit. These however, are not all he is. He can be happy and jovial one minute and seductive and cruel the next. His moods flip from one extreme to the other, with no in-betweens. It is hard to make him lose his cool, but once this has been accomplished he shows no mercy and can be quite imaginative in his punishments. He has a way of finding every weakness a person has and exploiting them. He enjoys using people, and no one, not even his followers, is safe from this. Vhearun keeps the nicer and softer parts of himself well hidden, although his mission to free his people and see them with the same chances every surface dweller has points to it. He has a talent of manipulating people into forgetting he's evil, making them assume they are his friends, and then betraying them suddenly and swiftly. When he finally removes his own mask, then he will know his people are truly free.
